illustrate
The ADC121S021 is a high speed serial interface for a low power, single CMOS 12-bit analog-to-digital converter. Unlike the usual practice of specifying performance at a single sample rate, the ADC121S021 is specified over a sample rate range of 200 ksps that exceeds 50 ksps. The converter is a successive approximation register structure based on an internal tracking and holding circuitry.
The serial data output is binary and is compatible with several standards such as SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE Serial interface with many common DSPs.
The ADC121S021 operates with a single supply and can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 V. Normal +3.6 V or +5.25 V power consumption is 1.5 MW and 7.9 MW, respectively. The power-down function reduces power consumption down to 2.6 microwatts and uses voltages of +5.25 V.
The ADC121S021 is packaged in a 6-pin LLP and SOT-23 package. Operation in the industrial temperature range is guaranteed from -40 °C to +85 °C.
