The ADC121S021 is a low-power, single-channel CMOS 12-bit analog-to-digitization with high-speed serial interface converter. The difference is that specifying a single sample rate performance is only a conventional practice, ADC121S021 fully specifying a sample rate range of 50 ksps and a sample rate range of 200 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register architecture with internal sampling and hold circuitry.

Serial data output is direct binary and is compatible with several standards, such as SPI™, QSPI ™, MICROWIRE and many common DSP serial interfaces.

The ADC121S021 works, with a single power supply, which can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 V Normal power consumption using a 3.6 V or +5.25 V power supply is 1.5 MW and 7.9 MW, respectively. The power-down function reduces power consumption to as low as 2.6 microwatts and is powered from a +5.25 V supply.
