The ADC122S706 is a dual-channel 12-bit 500 kSPS synchronous sample-to-digital (A/D) converter with 1 MSPS. The analog inputs of the two channels are sampled while keeping their relative phase information to each other. The converter is based on the analog input differential feature of successive approximation register architecture to keep the entire A/D converter tracked and held the circuit from within, providing excellent common-mode signal rejection. The ADC122S706 features an external reference and can be ranging from 1.0V to V A.

The ADC122S706 provides dual high-speed serial data outputs, is a binary complement, and is compatible with several standards such as SPI™, QSPI ™, MICROWIRE ™, and many common DSP serial interfaces. The conversion result of channel A is output, and the output of channel B is converted to OUTB in D. This feature makes ADC122S706 an excellent alternative to application systems in which two different ADC samples are used simultaneously. Serial clock (SCLK) and film selection bar (^ CS) are the two channels in common. For lower power consumption, a single serial data output mode is selected externally.

The ADC122S706 analog (five-A) and digital (five-d) supplies that can be operated independently. V A and range can be from 4.5V to 5.5V, and V D can range from 2.7 to V A. With the ADC122S706 operation of V A with 3V and 5V with V D and A, the power consumption of 1 MSPS is typically 25 mW. In power-down mode, the ADC122S706 of power consumption drops to 3 microwatts. Differential inputs, low power consumption and small size make it ideal for direct connection to sensors ADC122S706 motor control applications.

Guaranteed to operate at -40°C, industrial temperature range of 105°C and clock frequency of 16 MHz at 8 MHz. The ADC122S706 is available in a 14-pin TSSOP package.
