The ADC124S021 is a low-power, quad high-speed serial interface CMOS 12-bit analog-to-digital converter. Unlike the conventional practice of specifying performance at a single sample rate, ADC124S021 fully specifying a sample rate of 50 ksps in the range of 200 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register architecture with internal sample-and-hold circuitry. It can be configured to accept signals through the 4th input IN1 to the 4th input.

THE SERIAL DATA OUTPUT IS DIRECTLY BINARY AND COMPATIBLE WITH SERIAL INTERFACES OF SEVERAL STANDARDS SUCH AS SPI™, QSPI ™, MICROWIRE, AND MANY GENERAL-PURPOSE DSPS.

The ADC124S021 operates with a single supply and can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 five Normal power consumption using +3 V or +5 V supplies is 2.2 MW and 7.9 mW, respectively. The power-down function reduces power consumption by only 0.14 microwatts from a +3 V supply, or 0.32 microwatts from a +5 V supply.

The ADC124S021 is packaged in a 10-pin MSOP package. Operating at -40°C with an industrial temperature range of 85°C is guaranteed.
