ADC122S021 is a low-power, dual-channel CMOS 12-bit analog-to-digital converter with a high-speed serial interface. Unlike the conventional practice of specifying performance only at a single sample rate, ADC122S021 is specified in the sample rate range of 200 ksps completely beyond 50 ksps. The converter is based on a successive approximation register structure of an internal track and hold circuit. It can be configured to accept inputs IN1 and IN2 for one or both input signals.

Serial data output is binary and compatible with several standard SPI™, QSPI™, MICROWIRE, and many common DSP serial interfaces, such as:

ADC122S021 operation and single supply can range from +2.7 V to +5.25 V. The power consumption of a +3 V or +5 V supply is 2.2 MW and 7.9 MW, respectively. The power-off function reduces power consumption to just 0.14 μW using a +3 V supply or 0.32 μW using a +5 V supply.

ADC122S021 is packaged in an 8-pin MSOP package. Guaranteed to operate in industrial temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
