The ADCS7476, ADCS7477 and ADCS7478 are low-power, single-chip CMOS 12-, 10-, and 8-bit analog-to-digital converters that work in 1 MSPS. The drop ADCS7476/77/78 is a replacement for AD7476/77/78 for Analog Devices. Each device is based on a successive approximation of internal sampling and holding register structures. The serial interface is compatible with several standards such as SPI™, QSPI ™, MICROWIRE ™, and many common DSP serial interfaces.

The ADCS7476/77/78 is used as a reference supply voltage to enable the device's operation and range input range from 0 full to V DD. The conversion rate is the one that determines the speed from the serial clock (SCLK). These converters provide a shutdown mode that can be exchanged for power throughput. The ADCS7476/77/78 operates with a single supply and can be from +2.7 V to +5.25 V Normal power consumption is in continuous conversion, powered by a +3 V or +5 V supply, which is 2 mW and 10 mW respectively. The downward function power supply is enabled by a chip selector (^CS) pin, which reduces power consumption by less than 5 microwatts and is powered by a +5 V supply. All three converters are available in 6-pin formats, SOT-23 packages, and 6-pin LLP, both applications offering a very small footprint in space is an important consideration. These products are designed to work in the automotive/extended industrial temperature range of -40°C +125℃ 。
