ADG3243 is a 2.5 V or 3.3 V, 2-position, 2-port digital switch with independent control of each channel. It is manufactured using a low-voltage CMOS process and features low power consumption, high switching speed, and extremely low on-resistance. The input can be connected to the output without incurring additional propagation delays or additional ground bounce noise.
These switches enable the input signal via bus enable () input signal. Under the condition of on, the digital switch can switch the signal in both directions. Under disconnection conditions, the signal level to reach the supply voltage is blocked.
This device is ideal for applications that require level translation. When powered from a 3.3 V supply, the 3.3 V input level can be converted to a 2.5 V output level. Similarly, if the device is powered from a 2.5 V supply and a 2.5 V input is applied, the device will be converted to a 1.8 V output. This makes the device suitable for applications that require level conversion between different power supplies, such as when a converter interfaces with a DSP or microcontroller.
