The ADM3052 is isolatedcontrollerLocal Area Network (CAN) physical layer transceiver with integrated V+Linear regulator, in accordance with ISO 11898 standard. The device is used by Analog Devices iCoupler® technology that integrates a triple isolator, CAN transceiver, and LDO regulator in a single package. Logical side VDD1The single 3.3V or 5V supply on the bus side is isolated from the single 24V supply on the bus side V+.

The ADM3052 creates an isolated interface between the CAN protocol controller and the physical layer bus. It can operate at data rates up to 1Mbps.

The device's bus pins (V+, V−, CAHN, and CANL) have integrated wiring error protection.

The device features current limit and thermal shutdown to prevent output shorts and bus shortings to ground or power pins. It is specified over the industrial temperature range and is available in a 16-lead, wide-body SOIC package.
