ADP165The ADP166 is ultralow quiescent current and low voltageDifferential linear regulatorIt operates from 2.2 V to 5.5 V and delivers up to 150 mA. The dropout voltage of only 120 mV at 150 mA improves efficiency and allows the device to operate over a wide input voltage range.
The ADP165/ADP166 are designed to operate stably with 1 μF ± 30% small ceramic input and output capacitors for high performance, space-constrained applications.
The ADP165/ADP166 offer seven fixed output voltage options from 1.2 V to 3.3 V and one adjustable output option. The ADP165 also includes a switching resistor that automatically discharges the output when the LDO is disabled. The ADP166 does not include the output discharge function, and the rest is identical to the ADP165.
Short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuitry prevents damage under adverse conditions. Available in 5-lead TSOT, 6-lead LFCSP, and 4-lead, 0.5 mm pitch WLCSP, the ADP165/ADP166 are the smallest form factor solutions for a wide range of portable power applications.
