    ADP170The ADP171 is a low voltage input, low quiescent current, and low dropout (LDO).Linear regulatorIt operates from 1.6V to 3.6V and is capable of delivering up to 300mA of output current. At 300mA load, the dropout voltage is only 55mV, improving efficiency and supporting a wide range of input voltages. Quiescent current as low as 23μA at no load makes the ADP170/ADP171 ideal for battery-powered portable equipment.

    ADP170Choose from 31 fixed output voltages ranging from 0.8 V to 3.0 V. The ADP171 is an adjustable output voltage regulator that can achieve any output voltage from 0.8 V to 3.0 V by setting an external voltage divider. The stability of the ADP170/ADP171 is optimized to require only a small 1μF ceramic output capacitor. The device is ideal for powering digital processors. The ADP170/ADP171 have good transient performance and occupy very little board space. The ADP170/ADP171 offer better power supply rejection ratios (up to 20-40dB at 100kHz) than general commercial LDOs, making them ideal power supplies for ADCs and mixed-signal processors where engineers can use small bypass capacitors. In addition, the devices provide excellent output noise performance and do not require additional bypass capacitors, further reducing the number of components on the PCB.

    Short-circuit protection and overtemperature protection circuitry are provided inside the device to prevent damage under harmful conditions. The ADP170/ADP171 are available in a 5-lead TSOT package in the smallest form factor to meet a wide range of portable power applications.
