Product Details:

ADP2114 is a versatile synchronous buck switching regulator that can be configured to meet a wide range of customer point-of-load requirements. The two PWM channels can be configured to either provide two independent outputs of 2 A and 2 A (or 3 A/1 A) of current respectively, or as a single staggered output of 4 A. To reduce the input ripple current and input capacitance, the two PWM channels are phased offset by 180º.

ADP2114 deliver high-efficiency performance at full load and support high switching frequencies up to 1.2 MHz. At light loads, the device can be set to operate in pulse hop mode for increased power efficiency or in forced PWM mode to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).

The device's gate slew rate is optimized to reduce electromagnetic emissions, allowing it to power sensitive high-performance signal chain applications. Frequencies can be set to 300 kHz, 600 kHz, and 1.2 MHz, and can be synchronized with external clock signals for minimal system noise between converters. The bidirectional synchronous pins can also be configured with a 90º inverting output clock, providing the conditions for a stackable multiphase power solution. ADP2114 input voltage range from 2.75 V to 5.5 V; The fixed output voltage for each channel can be set independently via an external resistor: 0.8 V, 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, or 3.3 V. With a resistor divider, the output voltage can also be set to a minimum of 0.6 V. The device has an operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C junction temperature range.
