Two frequency options are available: the ADP2300 operates at 700 kHz and the ADP2301 operates at 1.4 MHz. Users can make appropriate choices by making trade-offs between power efficiency and overall solution size. Current mode control provides fast, stable line and load transient response. The ADP2300/ADP2301 devices have built-in soft-start to prevent inrush currents from affecting the device at power-up. Other important safety features include short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown (TSD), and input undervoltage lockout (UVLO). The ADP2300/ADP2301 have a precision enable pin threshold voltage, making it easy to control the timing of these devices with other input/output supplies; With a resistor divider, this enable pin can also be used as a programmable UVLO input.

The ADP2300/ADP2301 are available in a 6-lead TSOT package and are specified over the −40°C to +125°C junction temperature range.
