Product details

ADP3309It belongs to the ADP330x family of precision low dropout voltagesanyCAP regulator。 It is pin-compatible and functionally compatible with National's LP2981, but its performance is superior to the latter. The ADP3309 uses a novel architecture and improved process to provide better performance than traditional LDOs. Its patented design requires only a 0.47 μF output capacitor to remain stable. The device operates stably with any type of capacitor, independent of the equivalent series resistance (ESR) value of the capacitor, including ceramic capacitors for space-constrained applications. The ADP3309 achieves ±1.2% accuracy at room temperature and an overall accuracy of ±2.2% for temperature, line, and load regulation. At 100 mA, the dropout voltage is only 120 mV (typical). The device also features current limit and shutdown features. In shutdown mode, the ground current drops to approximately 1 μA.

The ADP3309 has a wide input voltage range (2.8 V to 12 V) and delivers load currents greater than 100 mA. The ADP3309 anyCAP LDO has a wide output voltage range.
