Product details

ADP3333It belongs to the ADP333x family of precision low dropout anyCAP®Voltage regulator。 The device is pin-compatible with the MAX8860, and the ADP3333 operates over a wide input voltage range of 2.6 V to 12 V and delivers up to 300mA of load current. The ADP3333 uses a novel architecture and improved process to provide superior performance over traditional LDOs and performance advantages over competitive products. Its patented design requires only a 1.0 μF output capacitor to remain stable. The device is insensitive to the equivalent series resistance (ESR) of the output capacitor and is stable with any good quality capacitor, including ceramic (MLCC) type capacitors for space-constrained applications. The ADP3333 achieves excellent accuracy of ±0.8% at room temperature and an accuracy of ±1.8% for temperature, line, and load changes. The ADP3333 has a dropout voltage of only 140 mV (typical) at 300 mA. The device also features safe current limit, thermal overload protection, and shutdown. In shutdown mode, the ground current drops below 1. At light loads, the ADP3333 has an ultralow quiescent current of 70 μA (typical).
