By using patented temperature drift curvature correction technology and XFET technology, the nonlinearity of voltage changes with temperature can be minimized. The XFET architecture provides excellent accuracy and thermal hysteresis performance for bandgap references. It also operates with lower power consumption and a smaller power margin than embedded Zener diode references.
The ADR42x offers excellent noise performance, stability, and accuracy, making it ideal for precision conversion applications such as fiber optic networks and medical devices. It can also be used to adjust the output voltage within the ±0.5% range, with no other performance affected. The ADR42x series is available in two electrical grades with a temperature range of −40°C to +125°C for extended industrial temperature ranges and is available in either an 8-pin SOIC package or an 8-pin MSOP package (the latter being 30% smaller than the former).
