XFET references operate with lower power consumption (800 μA) and a smaller supply margin (2 V) compared to embedded Zener references. Embedded Zener references require a margin of more than 5 V to operate. The ADR43x XFET reference is the only low-noise solution for 5 V systems.
The ADR43x series has a source current output of up to 30 mA and a maximum current draw capability of 20 mA. It also has an adjustment pin that can adjust the output voltage in the 0.5% range without compromising performance.
The ADR43x is available in 8-pin MSOP and narrow-body SOIC packages. All versions are rated for an extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.
