ADS1232 and ADS1234 are precision 24-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). With onboard, a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), high-precision Δ-Σ ADC, and internal oscillator ADS1232/4 bridge offers a complete front-end solution including load cells, strain gauges, and pressure sensors.

The input multiplexer can accept any two (ADS1232) or four (ADS1234) differential inputs. The ADS1232 also includes a built-in temperature sensor to monitor ambient temperature. On board, the low-noise PGA offers 1,2 optional gain, 64 or 128 paired with ± 2.5V full-scale differential inputs, ± 1.25V, ± 39mV, or ± 19.5mV. Δ-ΣADC has an effective resolution of 23.5 bits and consists of a 3-order modulator and a 4th-order digital filter.
