The ADSP-TS203S is a member of the TigerSHARC processor family. ADITigerSHARC processorIdeal for a wide range of signal processing applications that rely on multiple processors collaborating to perform computationally intensive real-time functions, ideal for the video and communications markets, as well as defense, medical imaging, industrial instrumentation, and more. The ADSP-TS203S uses a static superscalar architecture with RISC, VLIW, and standard DSP functionality. Built-in support for fixed-point and floating-point data types, combined with leading multiprocessing capabilities, gives TigerSHARC processors unmatched DSP performance. With a clock rate of 500 MHz, the ADSP-TS203S has the industry's highest 16-bit fixed-point and 32-bit floating-point performance. The ADSP-TS203S has a 32-bit, 1024-point composite FFT time of 20.2 ms and a performance of 1500 MFLOPs per watt.

• Perform 8 16-bit MAC and 40-bit accumulations per cycle or 2 32-bit MAC and 80-bit accumulations
• Perform 6 single-precision floating-point or 24 16-bit fixed-point operations per cycle (performance of 3 GFLOPS or 12 GOPS)
• 2-cycle interlock execution pipeline
• Parallel design allows execution of up to four 32-bit instructions per cycle
The ADSP-TS201S is available in a low cost 25x25mm LQFP package. The TigerSHARC processor is currently available in a general-purpose sampling version.
