ADuM2250/ADuM2251 are
Hot-swappable digital isolators, built-in non-latching bidirectional communication channel, and with I
2C interface compatible. This eliminates the need to separate the I2C signal into separate transmit and receive signals for use by separate photocouplers.
The ADuM2250 provides two bidirectional channels that support fully isolated I2C interface. The ADuM2251 provides a bidirectional channel and a unidirectional channel for applications that do not require bidirectional clocking.
The ADuM2250/ADuM2251 both have built-in hot-swap circuitry to prevent data interference when a passive card is inserted into an active bus.
