The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 isolators provide two independent isolation channels. The maximum propagation delay is 60 ns, and the channel-to-channel matching is 5 ns. Compared to gate drivers with a high-voltage level-shifting approach, the ADuM3220/ADuM3221 have the advantage of true current isolation between the inputs and outputs, enabling voltage conversion across the isolation gate. The ADuM3220 has pass-through protection logic, while the ADuM3221 does not. Both devices provide the default low-level output characteristics required for gate drive applications. The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 has an input supply voltage range of 3.0 V to 5.5 V and is compatible with low-voltage systems. The ADuM3220A/ADuM3221A have an output supply voltage range of 5 V to 18 V. The DuM3220B/ADuM3221B have an output supply voltage range of 8 V to 18 V.
The ADuM3220/ADuM3221 is rated for a junction temperature range of −40°C to +125°C.
