  • Product details

    ADuM4190is based on Analog DevicesiIsolation error amplifier for Coupler® technology. The ADuM4190 is ideal for linear feedback power supplies. The ADuM4190's primary-side controller offers improved transient response, power density, and stability compared to commonly used optocoupler and shunt regulator solutions.

    Unlike optocoupler-based solutions that have an uncertain current transfer ratio over the entire life cycle and at high temperatures, the ADuM4190's transfer function does not change over life and is stable over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

    The ADuM4190 contains a wideband op amp that can be used in a variety of common power loop compensation techniques. The ADuM4190 is fast enough to allow the feedback loop to react to fast transient conditions and overcurrent conditions. The device also includes a high precision 1.225 V reference that can be compared to the power supply output set point.

    The ADuM4190 is available in a wide 16-lead SOIC package with a reinforced isolation voltage rating of 5 kV rms.
