    ADuM5230It is a company using Analog DevicesiCoupler® technology isolated half-bridge gatedriveto provide independent and isolated high- and low-side outputs. Combining a CMOS process with microtransformer technology, the isolation includes an integrated dc-to-dc converter that provides isolated high-side power. This eliminates the cost, space, and performance challenges associated with external power supply configurations such as bootstrap circuits. This high-side isolated supply not only powers the ADuM5230 high-side outputs, but also any external snubber circuitry applicable in the ADuM5230.

    Compared to gate drivers that employ high voltage level shifting, the ADuM5230 provides true galvanic isolation between the input and either output. The operating voltage of each output can be as high as ±700 VP relative to the working voltage of the input, so the low side can operate in a negative voltage state. The differential voltage between the high and low sides can be as high as 700 VP.
