The ADuM5401/ADuM5402/ADuM5403/ADuM5404 are all four-channel digital isolators that are integratedisoPower® isolated DC/DC converters. The DC-DC converter is based on Analog DevicesiCoupler® technology provides up to 500 mW of regulated isolation power at 5.0 V (5.0 V input supply) or 3.3 V (3.3 V supply). In a low-power isolated design, there is no need to use a separate isolated DC-DC converter. exploitiCoupler chip-scale transformer technology provides a small, fully isolated solution for both logic signals and DC/DC converter magnetics.
The ADuM5401/ADuM5402/ADuM5403/ADuM5404 isolators provide 4 independent isolation channels and support multiple channel configurations and data rates (see the "Ordering Guide" for more information).
isoPower utilizes high-frequency switching elements to transmit power through its transformers. Particular care should be taken when designing printed circuit board (PCB) layouts and must comply with relevant radiation standards.
