ADuM6132It is an isolated half-bridge gate
drive, using Analog Devices, Inc. iCoupler® technology, provides isolated high-side drivers with integrated 275 mW high-side power. This power is provided by an internally isolated dc-to-dc converter that powers not only the ADuM6132 high-side output, but also any common external buffer circuitry used with the ADuM6132. This feature eliminates the cost, space, and performance issues associated with external power supply configurations such as bootstrap circuits.
The architecture of the ADuM6132 isolates the high-side channels and high-side power from the control and low-side interface circuitry. Care has been taken to ensure that the high-side and low-side driver timing characteristics are tightly matched to reduce dead margin requirements.
The ADuM6132 offers true galvanic isolation over gate drivers using high voltage level shifting methods. Differential voltages between the high-side and low-side channels can be up to 800 V and have good isolation life (see Table 12).
