ADuM7223It's a one
4 A isolated half-bridge gate driver, using Analog Devices
iCoupler® technology that provides independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. These isolation devices combine high-speed CMOS with monolithic transformer technology to have excellent performance characteristics over alternative devices such as pulse transformers and nonisolated gate driver combinations. By integrating an isolator and driver in a single package, the propagation delay is only 60 ns maximum, while the propagation skew between channels is 7 ns maximum.
The ADuM7223 provides two independent isolation channels. The ADuM7223 operates from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply voltage and is compatible with low voltage systems. The output voltage is over a wide range of 4.5 V to 18 V and is available in three output voltage versions. The 5 x 5 mm, LGA package is available in 2500 V DC PEAKOperating voltage (input-to-output and output-to-output).
These gate drivers offer true galvanic isolation between the input and outputs compared to gate drivers that use a high-voltage level shifting method. As a result, these gate drivers can reliably control the switching characteristics of IGBT/MOSFET configurations over a wide range of positive or negative switching voltages.
