  • Product details

    AduM7234It is an isolated half-bridge gatedrive, using Analog DevicesiCoupler® technology that provides independent and isolated high-side and low-side outputs. This isolation device combines high-speed CMOS with monolithic transformer technology to provide superior performance characteristics over optocoupler solutions. This oneiCoupler gate driver devices do not require LEDs and photodiodes, allowing them to provide precision timing characteristics that optocouplers cannot provide. In addition, it does not have the reliability and performance stability issues associated with optocoupler LEDs.

    Compared to gate drivers using high voltage level shifting, the ADuM7234 offers true galvanic isolation between the inputs and outputs. Each output operates up to ± 350 VPEAK relative to the input, allowing low-side switching to negative voltage. Differential voltages between the high and low sides can be up to 350 VPEAK

    As a result, the ADuM7234 can reliably control the switching characteristics of IGBT/MOSFET configurations over a wide range of positive or negative switching voltages.
