• Product Introduction

ADV3205 is a fully buffered cross-point switching matrix powered from a ±5 V supply, ideal for video applications. Its −3 dB signal bandwidth is 60 MHz, and 0.1% of channel switching is established in less than 60 ns. The device offers excellent crosstalk performance and ground/power pins around all inputs and outputs, providing additional shielding for the most demanding applications. Differential gain and differential phase are better than 0.1% and 0.1°, respectively, and 0.1 dB flatness up to 10 MHz, making ADV3205 an excellent choice for many video applications. ADV3205 16 independent output buffers are built-in, which can be disabled to provide parallel intersection outputs. The device has a gain of +2 and operates from a ±5 V supply with a power consumption of only 34 mA. Channel switching is achieved through a serial digital control interface (which allows multiple devices to be daisy-chained) or a parallel control interface; Each output can be updated independently without the need to reprogram the entire array.
