ADV3221 and ADV3222 are high-speed, high-voltage slew rate, buffered 4:1 analog multiplexers. Its −3 dB signal bandwidth is greater than 800 MHz, and 1% of channel switching is established in less than 20 ns. Both devices have crosstalk performance of less than -58 dB and isolation of -67 dB (100 MHz), making them suitable for many high-speed applications. When driving a 75 Ω rear terminated load, the differential gain error is less than 0.02%, the differential phase error is less than 0.02, and the 0.1 dB flatness is more than 100 MHz, making it ideal for all types of signal switching.
The ADV3221/ADV3222 contains an output buffer that places it in a high impedance state. This allows multiple outputs to be connected to each other to achieve a cascading signal stage without having to shut down the channel to load the output bus. The ADV3221 has a gain of +1 and the ADV3222 has a gain of +2, and both devices are powered from a ±5 V supply and consume less than 7.5 mA of idle current. Channel switching is implemented through latching control lines, which enable synchronous updates in multi-ADV3221/ADV3222 environments.
The ADV3221/ADV3222 is available in a 16-pin SOIC package and has an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
