Both ADV3226/ADV3227 are high-speed 16×16 analog crosspoint switching matrices with a −3 dB signal bandwidth greater than 750 MHz and a 1% settling time of less than 20 ns for channel switching.

The ADV3226/ADV3227 contains 16 independent output buffers that can be placed in a high-impedance state to enable cross-point outputs to be paralleled, preventing the shutdown channel from delivering load to the output bus. ADV3226 has a buff of +1 and ADV3227 has a buff of +2. Both devices are powered from a ±5 V supply and consume only 118 mA (ADV3226) and 133 mA (ADV3227) of idle current. Channel switching is achieved through a serial digital control interface (which allows multiple devices to be daisy-chained) or a parallel control interface; The outputs can be updated independently without reprogramming the entire array.

The ADV3226/ADV3227 is available in a 100-pin LFCSP package and is rated for an extended industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
