ADuC7061 low-power, precision analog microcontroller, dual-channel
The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 are fully integrated 8 kSPS, 24-bit data acquisition systems that integrate a high-performance multi-channel sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC), 16-bit/32-bit ARM7TDMI® MCUs, and Flash/EE memory on a single chip.
The ADC includes a 5-channel primary ADC and up to an 8-channel secondary ADC that can operate in single-ended or differential input mode. A single-channel buffered voltage output DAC is provided on-chip, and the DAC output range can be programmed to one of two voltage ranges.
These devices generate an internal high-frequency clock signal of up to 10.24 MHz via an on-chip oscillator and a phase-locked loop (PLL). The microcontroller core is ARM7TDMI, and it is a 16-bit/32-bit RISC machine with peak performance up to 10 MIPS. The on-chip is combined: 4 KB of SRAM and 32 KB of non-volatile Flash/EE memory. ARM7TDMI core treats all memory and registers as a linear array.
The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 contains 4 timers. Timer 1 is a wake-up timer that wakes up the device from power-saving mode; Timer 2 can be configured as a watchdog timer. It also provides a 16-bit PWM with 6 output channels.
The ADuC7060/ADuC7061 has a built-in advanced interrupt controller. This vector interrupt controller (VIC) can assign a priority to each interrupt. It also supports nested interrupts, allowing up to 8 levels of nesting per IRQ and FIQ. If you combine IRQ and FIQ interrupt sources, you can support a total of 16 levels of nested interrupts. The on-chip firmware can be downloaded online through the UART serial interface port, and non-interventional simulation can also be performed through the JTAG interface.
The devices operate from a 2.375 V to 2.625 V supply and have an operating temperature range of −40°C to +125°C industrial temperatures.
