The ADuM7444x family of quad-channel 1kV digital isolation devices are available in a small 16-pin QSOP package. While most quad isolators are packaged in a 16-pin SOIC wide-body package, the ADuM7444x saves nearly 70% of board space while still withstanding high isolation voltages and meeting regulatory requirements such as UL and CSA standards (pending). In addition to saving space, the ADuM744x is priced less than 2.5kV or 5kV isolators for applications where only basic isolation is required.

The ADuM744x isolator provides four independent isolated channels with a variety of channel configurations with three data rates (see ordering guide) up to 25 Mbps. All models have a supply voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V on either end, providing compatibility with low-voltage systems and enabling voltage conversion through isolation barriers. In addition, the default output is high logic state for all models without input power.
