ADUM7642 1 kV RMS Quad Digital Isolator (6/0 Channel Directivity)

The ADuM7640/ADuM7641/ADuM7642/ADuM7643 are used by Analog Devicesi6-channel digital isolator with Coupler® technology. These 1kV digital isolation devices are available in a small 20-pin QSOP package. When functional isolation is required, these devices offer space savings and lower cost compared to 2.5kV or 5kV isolation solutions.

Like many isolators from Analog Devices, this product family uses supply voltages from 3.0V to 5.5V and consumes one-tenth to one-sixth the power of other digital isolators. In addition, the DuM7640/ADuM7641/ADuM7642/ADuM7643 provide low pulse width distortion (less than 6 ns C grade) and a channel-by-channel glitch filter to protect the device from extraneous noise. Four channel direction combinations provide the highest data rates of 1Mbps or 25Mbps. In the absence of input power, the default output for all models is a logic high state.
