The AFBR-5972Z transceiver enables system designers to enable Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) with a standard bandwidth of 0.5±0.05 NA OF. It has a very compact design and is shaped like a UTP connector. This transceiver features the new compact multifunction link duplex connector AFBR-4526Z and is compatible with existing simplex multifunction link connectors. The product is lead-free and RoHS compliant.
- Complies with IEEE 802.3 100BASE-FX PMA using POF PMD
- Link length up to 50 m POF (NA0.5) or 70 m POF (NA0.3)
- Compact package
- 3.3V operation
- LVPECL input and output data connections
- LVPECL signal detection output
- Temperature range: -40°C to 85°C
- Industrial Ethernet and Fast Ethernet are connected via plastic fiber optic PMD
- Network transmission in harsh environments such as factory automation or power generation and distribution
- Supports a wide range of Ethernet fieldbus protocols
