The AFBR-T524Z receiver contains a PIN detector and digital output IC. Designed to operate with the AFBR-R524Z transmitter, it uses a 650nm LED light source and integrated optics and LED driver chip to efficiently couple light energy into a 1mm plastic optical fiber (POF). Both the AFBR-T524Z and AFBR-R524Z are compatible with the TTL logic family. Both products can operate at speeds of up to 50 MBd over distances of up to 50 meters over distances of up to 50 meters using biphasic coding over 1 mm plastic fiber.
