Avago AFCT-5611Z／AFBR-56xxZ／AFCT-56xxZ 接口转换器系列产品符合工业标准的千兆以太网转换器 GBIC 规格修订版 5.4。此系列产品为传输媒体的各种连接标准提供了一个统一的形式规格。可从承载底盘上插入或移除这些转换器，并且不会降低主机系统的功率。

这些转换器适于千兆以太网集线器和交换器环境中的互连。这些转换器的设计对其它要求千兆互联的高性能、点对点通信也非常实用。由于转换器支持热插拔，所以只需插入一个不同类型的转换器来更换系统配置。
