This is a low-cost, integrated AFE031 powerline communication analog front-end (AFE) device, which is controlled by a DSP with a transformer-coupled connected to the power line or microcontroller.It is ideal for large currents, and the low-impedance line drives to 1.5A into a reactive load.The integrated receiver can detect the next 15μVRMS signal and offer a wide range of gain options to accommodate changing input signal conditions.This monolithic integrated circuit provides high reliability requirements for powerline communication applications.

The AFE031 transmission power amplifiers are made up of a single supply range of 7V to 26V.At maximum output current, a wide output swing provides a 13VPP (IOUT = 1.
