The AP1507 is a step-down DC/DC conversion design of a monolithic integrated circuit that eliminates the need for an external transistor to drive the load capacity of 3A. Due to the reduced number of external components, the board space can be easily saved. An external shutdown function that controls the logic level and then enters standby mode. Feedback control, no external design with good line and load regulation internal compensation. Regarding the protection function, thermal shutdown to prevent damage to the operating temperature of the device, current limit is for the above current output switching operation. If the current limit function and VFB drop below 0.5V, the switching frequency will decrease. The AP1507 series operates at a switching frequency of 150KHz, thus making the small size ratio of the lower frequency switching regulator filter assembly required. Other features include a guaranteed 4% increase in output voltage and a 15% increase in the frequency of the oscillator under specified input voltage and output load conditions. Output versions include a fixed 3.3V, 5V, 12V, adjustable. The AP1507 is available in a 5-pin TO-252 lead-free package.
