ATS128LSE Programmable, true state of energization (TPOS) sensor ICs are an optimized combination of Hall effect ICs and rare earth magnets to switch and operate in response to magnetic signals generated by ferromagnetic targets in gear tooth sensing and proximity sensing applications.
The device offers a wide programming range for the magnetic operating point BOP. The fixed hysteresis then sets the magnetic operating point BOP based on the selected BRP.
The device is externally programmable. Magnetic operating point (BOP) provides a wide range of programmable programs, while the lag remains unchanged. This advanced feature allows for optimization of sensor IC switch points, significantly reducing the impact of mechanical configuration tolerances in the production environment.
Unique dynamic offset cancellation technology, along with an internal high-frequency clock, reduces the residual offset voltage typically caused by device overmolding, temperature dependence, and thermal stress. Placing Hall components and amplifiers in a single chip minimizes many of the problems typically associated with low-level analog signals.
The device is ideal when using gear teeth–configurations to collect speed or position information, or when using ferromagnetic targets for proximity sensing.
The ATS128 is available in a 4-pin plastic single-row in-line package (SIP). The package is a lead-free (Pb) package with a 100% matte tin plated pin frame.
