The ATS667 is oneTrue zero speed gear tooth sensorICs, including optimized Hall IC-rare earth magnet configurations packaged in a single overmolded package. This unique IC and package design provides a user-friendly solution for digital gear tooth sensing applications. This small package allows for easy assembly and use with gears of all shapes and sizes.

The device incorporates a dual-element Hall IC that switches in response to differential magnetic signals generated by ferromagnetic targets. The IC contains an advanced compensation circuit to eliminate unwanted effects of magnets and system bias. Digital processing of analog signals provides true zero-speed performance independent of air gap and dynamically adapts device performance to operating conditions common in automotive applications (reduced vibration sensitivity). The high-resolution peak detection DAC is used to set the device's adaptive switching threshold. Hysteresis in the threshold reduces the negative effect of any anomalous in magnetic signals that are associated with targets used in many automotive applications.

The ATS667 is optimized for transmission applications. The device is available in a Pb-free 4-pin SIP package with 100% matte tin leadframe plating.
