The ATS675 is the next generation of Allegro's® true state of power (TPOS) sensor IC family, providing even more precise accuracy than previous generations. The ATS675 operates at absolute zero speed and provides TPOS information.

The device contains a single-element Hall IC with a custom magnetic circuit optimized for switching in response to a magnetic signal generated by a ferromagnetic target. The IC contains an advanced digital circuit that is designed to reduce the undesirable effects of magnets and system deviations. The signal processing design allows the device to operate at target zero speed, independent of air gaps, and dynamically adapted to the specific operating conditions of automotive camshaft speed sensing applications.

The high-resolution peak-detection DAC is used to set the device's adaptive switching thresholds, ensuring high accuracy even in the event of target anomalies. The threshold internal hysteresis reduces the undesirable effects of magnetic signal anomalies such as magnetic overshoot associated with targets used in a variety of automotive applications. The output of this device is a digitized representation of the ferromagnet target profile. The ATS675 also comes with a low-bandwidth filter that improves tolerance for noise interference and signal-to-noise ratio of the IC.

This device is packaged in a lead-free package with a 100% matte tin plated pin frame.
