The bq20z70 is SBS's standard gas gauge IC, combined with patented Impedance Track™ technology, which is designed for battery pack or system installation. The BQ20Z70 measures and sets up a lithium-ion or lithium-polymer battery with an accurate record of the available power utilized by its integrated high-performance analog peripheral. Capacity changes, BQ20Z70 is the display, battery impedance, open circuit voltage, battery pack and other key parameters, and reports to report information to the system host controller via the serial communication bus. Its design work with the bq29330 is an analog front-end (AFE) protection IC to maximize functionality and safety, and minimize the number and cost of components in smart battery circuits.
