Product Introduction

The programmable BUF12840 gamma channel provides 12 reads with external electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) capability.

Two separate BUF12840 memory banks can store two different gamma curves at the same time to facilitate switching between gamma curves.

All gamma channel rail-to-rail outputs are available, with typical 200mV swing with 5mA or supply rail load.Standard operation up to 400kHz and high-speed data transfer up to 3.4MHz are supported using all channel line interface programming.

Produced BUF12840 using Texas Instruments' proprietary, state-of-the-art, high-voltage CMOS process.This process provides very dense logic operation and a high supply voltage of 20V.
