illustrate
DAC088S085 is a full-featured, general-purpose eight-way 8-bit voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that operates from a single +2.7 V to +5.5 V supply with a consumption of 1.95 MW 3V and 4.85 MW 5V. DAC088S085 is packaged in a 16-pin LLP package and a 16-lead TSSOP package. LLP package, making it the smallest octal DAC in its class to DAC088S085. The on-chip output amplifier allows for rail-to-rail output swing and three-wire serial interface clock rates up to 40 MHz over the entire supply voltage range. Competitive devices are limited supply voltages with a clock rate of 25 MHz in the range of 2.7V to 3.6V. Serial interface compatible with standard SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP interfaces. DAC088S085 also offers an unlimited number of DAC088S085s that can be used with a serial interface while updating the daisy chain.
There are two cited DAC088S085. One reference input provides channels A through D, while other reference services send independent settings of 0.5V and V each through your channel, providing as much dynamic range as possible of the output. DAC088S085 has a 16-bit input shift register to control the operating mode, power-down state, and register/output values of the DAC channel. All 8 DAC outputs can be updated simultaneously or individually.
Power-on reset circuit to ensure that the DAC's output power is up to zero volts and is retained until there is an active write device. DAC088S085's power-down feature allows each DAC to be powered independently with three different termination options. With all DAC channels powered off, power consumption is reduced to less than 0.3μW at 3V and less than 1μW at 5V. The low power consumption and small package DAC088S085 make it a great choice for using battery-powered devices.
DAC088S085 is a pin-compatible DAC that includes one of the 10-bit DAC108S085 and 12-bit DAC128S085 families. All three devices have the same pins, allowing system designers to choose one resolution that is appropriate for their application without having to redesign what their printed circuit board offers. DAC088S085 operation, extending the industrial temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
