DP83848M PHYTER Mini Address Space-Sensitive Applications The quality, reliability and small form factor required in embedded systems.

The device offers performance that far exceeds IEEE specifications, with superior interoperability and industry-leading performance exceeding 137 meters of CAT-V cable. DP83848M also offers Auto-MDIX to remove cabling complications. DP83848M has excellent ESD protection, and the manikin larger than 4KV provides extreme reliability and robust operation, ensuring a high level of performance in all applications.

The National DP83848M system employs a range of cost-reducing physical layers that are not available in other vendors' products. For example, DP83848M combined with a 25MHz clock, eliminates the need for space and cost, additional media access control (MAC), clock source components. Additionally, support for MII and RMII ensures ease of use and flexibility in design.

DP83848M is available in a compact 6mm x 40-pin package and is ideal for industrial control, building/factory automation, transportation, test equipment and wireless base stations.
