DS10BR254 is a 1.5 Gbps 1:4 LVDS repeater with optimized distribution of backplanes and balanced cables for high-speed signal routing and above FR-4 printed circuit boards. Fully differential signal paths ensure excellent signal integrity and noise immunity.

The device has two different LVDS input channels and a selection pin that determines which input is active. The loss-of-signal (^,LOS) circuit monitors the input for both input channels and a unique ^LOS pin that is placed as the detected input when there is no signal.

The wide input common-mode range allows the switch to accept LVDS, CML, and LVPECL level signals at the output level of LVDS. A very small package size requires minimal space in the board, and flow-through pins allow board design work to be easier. Each differential input and output is terminated with a 100Ω resistor to reduce the device's return loss, reduce the number of components, and further reduce board space.
