The DS1411 is a complex RS-232 1-Wire® adapter andIThe button holder performs RS-232 level translation and actively generates a 1-Wire communication signal. Together with ample software drivers, it enables Windows-based PCs to read and write directly to any non-EPROM®IButton device. The DS1411 has a single F5 MicroCan DS9098P hold. A suitable 1-Wire network cable, for example, is connectedmultipleFor a list of I buttons, see the DS1402x 1-Wire Network Cable DatasheetConnection matrixTable. 1-Wire communication supports standard speeds as well as high-speed mode adapters. The serial port must support a data transfer rate of 9600 bits per second. Under the control of the adapter software, the RS-232 data rate can be set to 19200bps, 57600bps, 115200bps. The two rates are higher, and it is recommended to communicate on high-speed overspeeding capable devices. Since the DS1411 operates in byte mode, each data byte received from the RS-232 port generates 8 time slots on the 1-Wire bus. The DS1411 is based on the DS2480B serial interface 1-Wire line driver chip. The DS2480B's RXD/TXD polarity select input is connected to VDD（in-phase).
