description

The DS1822 is a digital thermometer with ±2°C accuracy over the -10°C to +85°C temperature range. Data in 1-Wire® serial bus format over 2 complement formats with a resolution of 9 to 12 bits (user programmable) is read.

The temperature of the DS1822_（TH) and temperature_（TL) User-programmable setpoints stored in the on-chip EEPROM provide thermostat. An internal flag is set when the measured temperature is_TH is greater than or less than_TL。 If constant temperature operation is not required, the two bytes in EEPROM are reserved as T_Hand_TL, which can be used for general-purpose non-volatile storage.

Each DS1822 features a unique and immutable 64-bit chip serial number that serves as the sensor's bus address. This allows multiple DS1822 devices to coexist on the same 1-Wire bus. The DS1822 can be powered locally from a 3.0V to 5.5V supply, and power can be derived from the 1-Wire data line ("parasitic supply").

Software packages are available for the DS1822's 3-pin TO-92 (DS1822) and 150mil's 8-pin SO (DS1822Z). In addition, a parasite power version of the DS1822 is availableDS1822, Performance Appraisal。 High accuracy is also availableDS18B20It provides ±0.5°C accuracy and software compatibility with the DS1822.
