description

The DS18B20-PAR digital thermometer provides 9 to 12 bits Celsius temperature measurement and features alarms with non-volatile user-programmable upper and lower limit trigger points. The DS18B20-PAR does not require an external power supply, as it comes directly from the power of the data cable ("parasitic power"). The DS18B20-PAR is defined as more than a 1-Wire® bus, and its definition requires only one data line to communicate with the central microprocessor and terrestrial communication. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +100°C and an accurate range of -10°C to +85°C to ±0.5°C or more.

Each DS18B20-PAR has a unique 64-bit identifier, which allows for multiple DS18B20-PAR lamp functions on the same 1-Wire bus, and as such, it is simple to control many DS18B20, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons distributed over a large area using a single microprocessor. Applications thanks to this feature can include HVAC environmental control, temperature monitoring systems within buildings, equipment or machinery, process monitoring and control systems.
