DS1992/DS1993 memory,IThe button (hereinafter referred to as DS199_) is a rugged read/write data carrier, acting as a localized database, convenient with minimal hardware. Non-volatile memory and optional timing functions provide a simple solution to store and retrieve related informationIImportant information about the button that connects to the object. Through the 1-Wire® protocol, only one data line and one ground loop are required to transmit data serially.
A scratchpad is an extra page that acts as a buffer when writing to memory. The data is first written to a scratchpad where it can be read back. After the data has been verified, the copy scratchpad command transfers the data to memory. When modifying memory, this process ensures data integrity. A 48-digit serial number is factory engraved into each DS199_ providing a unique identity guaranteeing absolute traceability. Durable MicroCan® package with high resistance to environmental hazards such as dust, moisture and impact. Its compact coin-operated silhouette self-adjusting mating socket allows DS199_ to be easily operated manually. Accessories allow DS199_ that can be mounted on almost all surfaces including plastic keychains, photo ID badges, PC boards. Applications include access control, work progress tracking, electronic travelers, calibration constant storage, and debit card tokens.
