DS2430A 256-bit 1-Wire®EEPROM

description DS2430A 256-bit 1-Wire®EEPROM identifies and stores information about the products associated with it. The specific information of this lot or product can be accessed with minimal interfaces, such as one port pin of the microcontroller. DS2430A is a factory-engraved registration number that includes a unique 48-bit serial number, 8-digit CRC, and 8-bit family code (14H), plus a 256-bit user-programmable EEPROM and a 64-bit one-time programmable application register. The power supply for the read/write DS2430A comes entirely from the 1-Wire communication line. With the 1-Wire protocol, only one data cable and a ground loop are required to transmit data serially. The 48-digit serial number lithography at each DS2430A factory provides a unique identity guarantee that it is absolutely traceable. The TO-92 and TSOC packages provide a compact enclosure that allows for the handling of accessories for equipment, printed circuit boards, or wires with standard mounting equipment. Typical applications include storing calibration factors, board identification, and product correction status.
